Provincetown...

It isn't a day in P-town without lunch at Napi's.

Two of my favorite guys!

The second reason for our trip to the tip of the Cape (besides lunch) was the right whales at Race Point.  Every year they follow the herring as they migrate up the creeks to the ponds to spawn.  There are 250 whales out in the ocean today, that's half the right whale population of the world.  We could see them cruising along but they didn't come close enough to shore for a good picture.

The gift...

My friend Betty brought these pink flowers to me when I was in rehab in February.  They continue to bloom, one flower after another.  This is the gift that keeps on giving.

Happy Easter...

He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today.

He walks with me and talks with me along life's narrow way.

You ask me how I know He lives,

He lives within my heart!

On a Sunday afternoon,

My son-in-law, My hero!  Tonight we are invited for dinner and he's a chef.  How lucky are we?  I can hardly wait!

Palm Sunday...

After church the kids have an Easter egg hunt.  Each child is allowed 20 eggs.  I do believe that is plenty of eggs.  Our little girl was having quite a time running with a herd of children her age.

As bright and beautiful as they are, they are still hard to spot.  Can you find him?

The Calm....

Another stormy day, two in a row for us.  It has calmed down a bit, though I think tomorrow will be the same.  I just loved cuddling down for my nap.

Man's Best Friend...

If wishes came true, I would be 20 years younger and able to chase this puppy all day.  But I'm not, so I can't.  Isn't she sweet, though?

Its so nice to see some spring flowers blooming.  This little group is perfect along with sunshine and warm breezes.  It's spring.

Heritage Museum...

Laurie, Steve and I went to Heritage Museum today.  They had a display in one of their buildings called, "Kitchens of the Past."  Sadly no pictures were allowed in that building.

It was truly interesting.  It covered kitchens from the 1600's until the early 50's when turquoise blue cabinets and appliances were popular.  The counter top in the 50's kitchen was the same one that was in my mother-in-law's kitchen back then.  Laurie recognized it right away.  It was yellow with turquoise blue boomerangs on it.  Oh my.

The grounds are beautiful this time of year with daffodils just beginning to bloom and many types of green shoots poking up from the ground.  We had a great day!

Aromas...

Yes, you want to catch a whiff of this!

My face wants to live in this steam.

Our neighbor set up a sugar house this spring and wants to tap our trees.  The trade would be maple syrup.  Is this a no-brainer for us?

Big Cliff...

A sunshiny day at Big Cliff Pond.  I still need one crutch for uneven ground but not for long.

First...

This evening Tom and I went for a walk on the beach, my first with my new knee.  It didn't hurt at all.  I haven't been this pain free for ten years.

Feathered Friends...

We see wildlife often from the windows of our winter cottage by the sea.  We have had  another winter of no snow, no shovel or plow, and no sliding sideways in the driveway.  This works for me.
