My son, Rich, bought a farm a few years ago near Hamilton, New York. I took this picture from the next hill over looking back at his barn. It was amazingly beautiful today, the first cool day of October. We have had so much rain recently that his pastures are still as green as spring. It was a joy to wander to the top of the meadow and cut firewood all day.
