On Thursday evenings my friends and I pile into a car and head for Six Loose Ladies in Proctorsville, VT. It is the "almost end of the week, we're tired," treat. What better way to wind down and relax at the end of the day than an old fashioned knitting circle. Gone aren't the days when knitting circles were common; knitting is experiencing a resurgence of popularity with hundreds of new, luscious yarns available.
Doesn't this just make you want to come and play?
This is the one place I had planned on going and didn't make it to this past weekend. That's probably a good thing since there's too much temptation there!
