Happy Mother's Day Mom.
I can't spend the day with her today. She lives on the Cape and I live in Vermont.
At church this morning we talked about our moms. One of the things she gave me as a child is faith. She took us to church every Sunday and instilled in us the importance of something bigger than us in control of childish fears and expectations.
Faith is the bird sensing the light, singing his song before dawn.
Happy Mother's Day Mom!! I love you and miss you much. I wish you were still here so I could fix you a nice dinner and share your laughter. Thank you for everything (especially for my beautiful wife!) I hope your day is as wonderful as you are. Love always, Steve
